While applying the accelerator pedal vehicle hesitated to accelerate. Consumer applied the accelerator pedal numerous times and vehicle accelerated uncontrollably. Consumer applied the brake pedal and the vehicle continued to accelerate. Consumer was able to maintain control of the vehicle, and pulled over. Vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that the throttle body needed to be replaced.
