I had the vehicle serviced on the 3,750 mi schedule in hopes of getting more than the 163,000 miles I got out of a '93 Ford Aerostar. Serviced at the dealership where I bought it. The vehicle is sitting in the driveway right now, basically unusable. No telling when it will finally go completely down.
Nissan released a Technical Service Bulletin in 2009, NTB05-037 regarding the catalyst failure and getting sucked back into the engine. They didn't bother to inform the owners of the VQ35, however.
This stinks. Worst Cost Of Ownership I've ever had. 84,000 miles and 5-years and it goes from brand new to scrap.

This isn't just my 3.5l engine, it happens a lot.
