The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Quest. The contact stated that while driving 30 mph on a decline with tank of fuel or less, there was an insufficient supply of fuel going to the engine which caused the vehicle to stall. The vehicle was merged to the side of the road where it was restarted in order to reset the system. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who decided to replace the fuel tank and reprogrammed the fuel tank control module. The failure recurred. The vehicle was repaired under recall NHTSA campaign id number: 12V076000(electrical system: Software ). the manufacturer was made aware of the failure who sent out a representative to inspect the failure. The failure mileage was 1,898 and the current mileage was 11,500.
