The electrical issue could eventually cause the car to not work. The dealership said that the floor mats on driver side got wet and caused corrosion on the connectors M13 and M14. They quoted me $4400+ to fix it, stating the part was $3300. This would be replacing the harness. I said no thanks, paid them $110 to diagnose the problem. I did ask some more questions and options. Can we use an aftermarket part, can we get a part from a junk yard, etc. The rep when and talked to the mechanic and reported back to me that they could be a way to maybe get it down to $1,000. I was frustrated as I know my car mats have never been soaked with water, only water from my shoes due to rain or snow.

I then went online and found a recall that was issued Jan 2015. I emailed and called the dealer for two days no reply from them. Finally they replied saying it was not part of the recall I found and my car had already been addressed for the recall. I found my recall paperwork and nothing on it shows they replaced a part. The note on the recall says the connectors tested fine and they put in protection seal. I have driven about 6,000 miles since the so called fix. I have now called Nissan and filed a complaint. I feel they need to replace the harness at their expense not mine. Everything I read online and with help from my brother who is a mechanic says this is the same issue. Am I being discriminated against cause I am a gal. Is the dealership trying to get me to trade in and buy a new car? I don't know.....I love my car but $4400 to repair some thing that is a recall is ridiculous.

Got to work and couldn't get driver door open. It was cold so thought that was the problem. Went to go home still couldn't open the door. Had to climb over console (not good for fat women). Got home, door opened. Try to open door from outside and wouldn't open. Went to store (after my climb again) door wouldn't open from INSIDE. Next day I could at least open from the inside and then walk around and get in. But sometimes it randomly will not open from inside, but you can NEVER get it open from the outside. A bit embarrassing being out and either climbing over console or having to push open door then walk around. Dealership wants $110 just to look at it.

My drivers side door lock stopped responding to the lock button in the car and on my keypad. It would allow me to lock manually.

I felt this was a safety issue as I should be able to get in and out of my car quickly, this slowed the process by having to manually use the key or flip the lock inside the car.

I had this replaced at the dealer at my expense even though several other rogue consumers have complained of the same. It cost about $269 to replace the motor tied to the lock. The car was 4 years old when this issue occured.

Not more than a week or two after I fixed the front drivers side door the same issue began happening with the rear drivers side door. I have opted not to fix yet as I don't need to use that door very often, still very frustrating and another expense.
