Here we go once again....I would never buy another Nissan as long as I live. I have a previous comment describing my experience with the gas tank not reading accurate. I recently replaced the fuel pump and now I know that I have to spend more money to determine whether or not it is the gas gauge or the fuel sending unit. What the heck is going on with all of the many complaints with Nissan. I complained to Nissan head quarters about this problem and they couldn't do anything about my problem because it is no longer under warranty...bull sh*t!! When this occurred I have only had the car for a year and 1 year and 1/2...and was a little over my 100, 000 but purchased with 38,000. Yes, I drive a lot but do my best to perform all maintenance on my car.
Now, I am reading that they are recalling Nissan Quest for the same fuel sending unit....What about the Nissan Rogue? I am having the same problem. ....I can't put any gas in my car because it is reading a full tank of gas and I know that I don't have a full tank. I can't drive my car for fear of running out of gas on the highway. The fuel light comes on even when I know that I have gas....I am ordering a fuel sending unit and checking my gauge and if this does not work, I am taking my complaint and fight Nissan with every penny that I have. Please recall the 2009 Nissan Rogue since they are having the same problem as the Quest.
