While driving home from wa to ca I noticed while driving up the great vine my 2009 Nissan Rogue started to decelerate from 70 mph to 45-55 mph, I had my foot pressed pedal to the metal with no acceleration. The vehicle just made it but while at another slight hill my vehicle did the same thing however this time it reduced to speed that posed a safety concern while on a highway. The speed dropped from 70 to about 30 in a matter of seconds. My infant son and wife were in the vehicle as it started to shut down I managed to get out of the highway but not before we had big rigs and other vehicles slow down or change lanes to avoid a collision. My vehicle would no longer move nor would for I had zero acceleration capabilities. Please recall this vehicle for it poses a safety concern that may cause a serious injury, lawsuit and even death to an operator, passenger and or others.

Fuel gauge is saying full tank but have driven for a while and it still is saying it is full.

While exiting the interstate the car jarred to a stop. When we tried to accelerate at the green light the engine revved but would not move. When we pressed the accelerator all the way the transmission caught and the car struggled to go 5 miles an hour- jarring all the way. We barely made it to a parking lot before it died completely.

My gas gauge is not reading properly so any time my tank is below half full it displays random inaccurate levels. There are recalls on many other models for this exact problem and the Rogue should be included in the recall.

Gas gauge does not read correctly. When attempting the fill the tank it trips the nozzle at the pump not allowing the attendant to fill the tank.

Took my 2009 Rogue in November due to fuel gage not showing accurate fuel intake. It was released the same day with they didn't find a problem. Took it back in December because the car died out due to no gas but fuel gage showed almost half tank (my 2 year old son was me and when I called Nissan they said to tow it but I had to pay for the towing). Nissan ordered the part it came in and installed December 24 2011 but when I tried to fill tank up it only registered at half tank. Took the car back in they dropped the tank, emptied the tank check the wirings and said it was fine this was in Jan 4 2012 picked car up on Jan 11 2012 at full tank. Currently as of today, Jan 17 2012 car is at 250 miles but fuel gage is only showing half tank when is should be at least 3rd bar to the end. Called Nissan found out that it is not covered under my extended warranty but because mileage was overlooked they will try to fix it again. By the way I live in guam. Will update after I take it in again.
