The contact owns a 2010 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle decelerated. The failure would occur intermittently. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where they refused to service the vehicle due to the mileage being over 80,000. The vehicle was taken to a private mechanic where it was diagnosed that the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.
