The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Rogue awl, purshcsed new from maguire Nissan lebanon, pa the original tires are dunlop sp sports 7000as line sizep225/55R18/sl. The vehicle under 10,000 miles produced a whipping sound which altered in pitch with the speed of the vehicle. These tires were rotated per manufacutes instruction, aligned and balanced every 5000 miles. The car was taken back to maguire Nissan on three occassions at which time they acknowledged the tires were defective. The Nissan corporation was contacted by me and so was dunlop tires. They acknowledged that three of the tires showed bumps on the tread surface, but refused to accept responsibility for poor manufacturing quality. They claimed the tires had not failed; therefore, they had no responsibilities to replace these tires. The car has now done 33,000 miles and the problem has progressively worsened to the extent the noise from the tires are deafening and results in severe strain and noise fatigue while driving. I recently had an estimate to replace all 4 tires and the cost per wal mart would be $964.
