On 10/17/2013 I was driving at 45miles when my left back tire exploded. My lights came on and said something about the tire pressure. I had to use all the strength in me to keep the car, was swaying side to side. I called Nissan right away but the service department was closed. They gave me a roadside assistance number to call. I took the car to Nissan the next day after getting a doughnut put on the car. Nissan wanted to charge me $200 plus for a new tire.
I decided to look online to see if there were in recalls on my car. I found out there are some 2012 Rogue with a recall on the TPMI. I called Nissan to see if my car was one of the ones with a recall. The guy at the service department said "No". Somehow I just don't believe him. My tire just exploded. Had I been on the interstate coming from church it would have been a different situation. I am thankful but feel like I've been duped.
My car is still fairly new with less than 20,000 miles.
