Paint is very bad. I like pearl white paint and bought it, but it's manufacturing fault in this color. Paint is peeling and bubbling everywhere. I did not fix yet, I want the company to fix it because in this category I am not alone, bunch of people complained same thing.

We bought the 2013 Nissan Rogue and the paint has started chipping. My wife took the car to dealership and they said will cost us to have it painted. Really didn't like that answer. I think the dealership should paint it at no charge.

I was under the impression that Nissan's were a very good car to last a long time if taken care of properly. I don't normally go in front of my car and therefore I didn't know anything about the paint peeling on the roof where a rust spot now exists. I noticed the peeling first on the back side of the passenger rear door - Picture _6.jpg. Then someone pointed out the roof to me and it had already begun rusting. I thought that the roof once probably occurred from possible hail storm.... so I naturally called my insurance company to file a claim.
Upon meeting him at a dealership, and him getting a paint/body guy out to look at it -- they explained that the paint was defective and to contact the dealer. They should be the ones paying to have it fixed. Being a single women I was relieved to this find out. When I called the dealership the next day (Hyman Bros. Nissan in Midlothian VA). They told me since the car was 2013 it was out of warranty. I am extremely upset and concerned because I bought this car thinking it was going to last me a long time --- but I'm feeling like it's going to turn completely to rust before that happens. I had thought about just buying some car paint the color of my car and just continue to touch of the paint, but it's occurring in more places -- I need help!

I first emailed Nissan about my problem of the peeling paint and they said that a representative would get back to me. That was in the beginning of February and it is now March 24th.. I am still waiting. I went to the Nissan dealer in my area and they want $2500.00 to repair the peeling paint.
I am retired and it took all of my savings to purchase this car thinking that this would probably be my last car. I am retired and was driving a 1997 Nissan for 19 years. I take car of my cars. I do not have the funds to pay for repairs as this is not my fault but a defect in the paint. I am very disappointed in Nissan and would hesitate to purchase another one.
The original price on this vehicle was $30,000.00 which I paid $18,000.00 I am thinking to turn this car in and see what they would offer me for it. I had this vehicle for only one and a half years. Would you like to buy this vehicle with the pealing paint. It only has 42000.00 miles on it and drives beautiful. Any offers?????

I all of the sudden noticed that I had little chips in the paint of my car above the windshield. that was a few months ago and now the paints has peeled away in ever increasing sized spots. its almost stretched all the way across above the windshield and is also on several spots on the the hood, left fender, right fender, and rear door. The paint issue gets worse every single day that I drive my car. I filed a claim with Nissan and they refused to help because they said the warranty was out of date... I never owned the car when the warranty would be valid! Nissan needs to own up to their mistakes and fix their paint issue!

This vehicle is only three years old. I've read that this is a wide problem throughout the United States with this year and vehicles with pearl white paint.
Nissan is refusing to paint the car or accept responsibility.

This is my wife's vehicle. We live on the coast in the fog belt. My wife works nights and the vehicle is garaged during the day. on a 200 mile drive in a rain storm the paint started coming off the hood. my wife ended up with cancer and was in the hospital for 6 months so the vehicle parked in our garage.
Nissan will not honor the warranty and claims it was caused from baking off in the sun and not being washed or waxed. What kind of paint bakes off when the normal temp here is 65 degrees and foggy?

We bought this car for our daughter. As I was washing it, I noticed areas of the paint peeling off. Is there a recall for this? My mechanic told me to steer clear of buying a Nissan, I regret not listening to him.
