I am elderly and rarely have a passenger in this 2013 Rogue that now (2/28/2020) only has a little less than 15,000 miles on it. I was told by Gettel Nissan of Sarasota, Florida on November 22, 2019 that I needed a new seat cushion assembly at the cost of $3000.00 due to a constant red airbag flashing light which indicated that both airbags are not functioning. I was charged $159 for the diagnosis. I do not feel as if a vehicle with so few miles on it should have this problem and I be charged for it, especially when it is an airbag problem which has shown up in other Nissan models.

2013 NISSAN ROGUE SV HAS TO HAVE A RECALL FOR THE AIRBAGS. FIRST IT WAS PASSENGER SIDE AND NOW THE LIGHT CONTINUES TO BLINK WHICH MEANS THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH DRIVERS SIDE NOW TOO.
I REALLY DON'T THINK A 2013 NISSAN ROGUE SHOULD HAVE SEVERAL ISSUES WITH AIRBAGS AND THIS REALLY NEEDS TO BE LISTED AS A RECALL BEFORE SOMEONE GETS SERIOUSLY INJURED DUE TO AIRBAGS NOT WORKING PROPERLY,
THIS SHOULD NOT BE THE OWNERS RESPONSIBILITY TO FIX THIS ISSUE....IT IS OBVIOUS NISSAN ROGUES ARE DEFECTIVE OR HAVE DEFECT IN AIRBAG.
NISSAN NEEDS TO STAND UP TO THEIR MISTAKES ON THIS VEHICLE!

The light of the air bag goes on when I turn the car on. Probably a sensor but I am worried that the air bag may go off while driving. Need to know if there is a recall for this.

Very scary/embarrassing when the light is flashing and we have guests in the car and had to change our plans because we did not feel safe to continue to drive the car with the airbag light flashing. Equally frustrating when I see years subsequent to mine are covered by recall but not mine! Thus, had to fork over nearly $500 to continue to feel safe in my own vehicle. This should be the responsibility of Nissan to keep a vehicle safe for their customers, it is no-brainer good customer service.

First it was my CV Axle I had to have repaired, now the passenger air bag light stays lit. This should be a recall for the 2013 Nissan Rogue. Any car that has an AIR BAG ISSUE when the car has never been in an accident, this should be repaired by Nissan at no cost. I am tried of having problems with this vehicle and if Nissan wants to stand behind their name, they will issue a fix at no cost. I am calling a Nissan Dealer to see what they tell me. I am not going to pay to have this fixed, Nissan NEEDS TO PAY. We did not cause this light to come on by vehicle being hit in anyway, therefore, this should be considered a defect in the air bag. I don't think Nissan should wait for someone to get hurt by this light being on, which in the manual states is a defect of some sort, Nissan NEED TO REPAIR!
