I have an issue about my car sneezing when it was 20k miles, but I ignored it and thought was I was crazy. Every time I have passengers in my car they will ask me why the car acts that way, but it didn't bother me. So this weekend 4/14/19 Sunday, I was driving from Atlanta to Montgomery to see family. I was driving 75mph and it wasn't that windy, but it felt like my car was not staying stable and I couldn't even drive over 40 miles an hour. I was on the left side and moved on the right side and parked my car. I checked my tires were good, checked water was full. I'm not familiar much with cars, so I called towing company. Next day I went to Nissan dealer. They diagnosed my car and I paid $120 for that. They said I needed a transmission that was $3750 and need coolant. All together will cost me $4750. I'm still paying for this car and I don't know what to do next, but I'm not going to recommend anyone Nissan again! They treat us bad, they should have a recall on this!

2013 Nissan Rogue above 45mph whining noise from transmission.1st the dealer stated that the cvt fluid had been over filled. They took out a quart and problem seemed to go away. Btw we bought the car from the same dealer who stated it was overfull. 2nd time we took it in, they said it needed an aftermarket oil cooler fitted at a cost of $1200 plus tax. Called Nissan and they stated that they would not pay for the fix even though in my opinion it's a major design flaw. Extended warranty cover excludes this situation so everyone has washed their hands of the problem. The internet shows this is common design flaw with the Rogue. Beware.

I noticed that the 2013 Rogue has more complaints about the transmission than the 2010 Rogue. The 2008 - 2010 Rogue had CVT warranty extended but not the 2013.

We purchased this 2013 Rogue brand new. After 111,000 miles, we find out the transmission now needs to be replaced. You would think after spending $27,900 on a vehicle that the transmission would last more than 111000 miles??? I had a 2006 Toyota Camry with 150,000 miles on it...…. NO PROBLEMS at all. NISSAN, as far as I am concerned, is a piece of SH*T. I WILL NEVER EVER buy another Nissan and I will make I tell EVERYONE I know not to buy one either.
I have filed a complaint with the VT Attorney General's Office for Consumer Affairs against Garvey Nissan in Rutland and Nissan USA. I am hoping to get something vs. shafted.

I LOVED MY VEHICLE AT FIRST BUT NOW I CAN'T STAND NISSAN. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER NISSAN. MY NEXT VEHICLE WILL BE A HONDA OR A TOYOTA. I MIGHT JUST MOVE SOMEWHERE SO I CAN TAKE THE BUS TO WORK.SHAKING MY HEAD

Nissan needs to extend the warranties on the CVT for all years. our new 2013 is only covered for 12k more miles and just had the transmission replaced. They only give you 12k mile warranty on the new CVT which will still fall in the warranty, TOTAL GARBAGE.

2013 NISSAN ROGUE WITH TRANSMISSION PROBLEM AT 104,000 MILES IS ABSOLUTELY AN ISSUE WITH NISSAN NOT GETTING THIS VEHICLE RIGHT.
A CAR THAT IS 6 YEARS OLD WITH THAT AMOUNT OF MILES...SHOULD NOT HAVE A TRANS GOING OUT ALREADY.
WHAT KIND OF PIECE OF CRAP DID NISSAN MAKE ON THE ROGUE IN 2013?
