This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Nissan dealer.
This has been an ongoing problem. I brought it to dealer and since they could not recreate the problem they didn't investigate.
Happens mostly at speeds over 25 mph but will happen at parked. Hoping it starts to scratch paint so I can show them and they will believe us. Then they can fix it and repaint the door.
Update from Aug 6, 2016: They are ordering a new regulator. It's on back order. I will update after it is installed and I test drive it for a while.
Update from Aug 31, 2016: Nissian put in a new regulator yesterday and the noise has stopped and the window works better. I will declare it fully repaired after I test it for a few days
Update from Sep 16, 2016: ok been driving car for a few weeks and the new regulator worked!!!!

The right side front window makes a loud snapping sound when window is being rolled up, electronically. It seams as though it is not catching or is catching on something it shouldn't be. I know it's going to break. Making appt to get fixed.
I'm wondering if other owners have this problem. Please let me know

driver's window making noise, like going off track

Whenever we'd close our driver's side window it's almost as if it wouldn't stop in time and would SNAP as it closed hard against the frame. This was toddler-waking loud (and anyone who has a sleeping toddler in the car knows this threshold).
When we brought it for service the mechanic confirmed the noise on the first try. Granted, this sound happened 9 times out of 10 but you always except that 1 time to be when you're at the shop. So we got a bit lucky there. Here's what the mechanic wrote:
"Verified drivers window clunks when put all the way down, then put back up. Removed driver's door panel, tightened window to regulator and re-installed."
So far, so good. I'd recommend asking your dealership to verify the window is connected properly to the regulator and see what happens.
