I contacted Nissan corporate on 14 June and filed a complaint about why a less than 2 year old Rouge needed a new transmission, even if it was beyond the 60,000 mile warranty. I was contacted by Justin (of Nissan corporate) as was told he would let me know in 1- 3 days. I never heard from him again. I called him once or twice a week and left messages including the case number and my phone number. Still no returned call. Finally on 9 August, I filed another complaint, this time against Justin. I finally got a call back the next day to say they were not liable for any of the repair cost. It took over 65 days to get an answer... we are not responsible.
If this is the way Nissan treats their customers... well, I will need to buy up to 3 cars in the next year or two... I assure you they will not be Nissans.
I recommend if you are having problems with Nissan identify them here and use social media as I plan to, and spread the word.
