This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Nissan dealer.
I just bought this car 38 days ago, not licensed yet or the first payment made. This is the 2nd time I had to drive this car to the dealership without heat, defroster or the heater blowing, dead. Was -7 to -16 below. Helena motors Helena Mt told me it is a Nissan defect in construction of the system and they have no fix. So the customer has to deal with it. He stated to thaw out the vehicle for a couple of hours. How is this even possible? The car is outside no garage. I can't have a car with this major problem/defect. Nissan need to have a fix for this problem NOW.. I will not recommend anyone buy a Nissan going forward, unless Nissan has a recall and a fix on this defect with the heater and blower in the car.

I remote started my Rogue so it was warming up for about 10 minutes at -41 F temp, or so I thought. I got in it but the heater was blowing any air. the LCD was obviously cold but it was functioning, it just wouldn't blow any heat. I had the heated seat turned on so at least I wasn't freezing completely on my 20 minute commute to work. Once I got to work, it sat for about 20 minutes before I could put it in the garage, but when I went to move it the heater was blowing again. we did have a snow storm the day before so I wonder if got down in their and somehow froze. I got ahold of a dealer who suggested it could have been one of three things. I just hope it continues to function till I get home. having heat in the winter is very serious, so I hope Nissan fixes this issue.
