navigation/entertainment/clock screen shut off

When we were being delivered the Rogue, the touch screen came on but was not functional. The dealer "reset" the vehicle and all has worked for the first 760 miles. Turned on the car today and the screen is black, bluetooth doesn't work and the radio plays but nothing shows on the screen. Wish I would have seen these more about this before I bought - doesn't sound uncommon.

Brand new car. Drove off from the lot just two days back and drove little less than 30 miles. Today in the morning the central dashboard is not turning on suddenly. Tried to drive vehicle for sometime then also display didn't come up. Very disappointed with the whole thing happening with a new car. Not sure Nissan's Quality control is this bad.

Today July 4th holiday. Have to talk to dealer tomorrow and see. Hope this vehicle is not a lemon.

Unsure of the exact mileage. However, on 3 different occasions occurring months after buying brand new (4 miles, 2 of which I'd put on it), the screen kept going out, sound kept going out. Multiple videos were taken and sent to the dealership/ dealer that I bought the car from. They finally replaced it after 3 times with the same issue. A brand new car should not have these issues.

The Navigation system screen keep restarting every few seconds. After a while it shuts off and will not cut on again until shut off at least 2 hours. That means no navigation, no entertainment system and no clock. the clock freezes time. You can still see the clock over the steering wheel but it doesn't change time. I was on a trip at the time and had to use my GPS on my phone. When I got home and reported this to Nissan they took the car and eventually offered a loaner.

I was told the car is still doing this and IT IS A KNOWN ISSUE BY NISSAN. The engineers have not come up with a fix yet. Needless to say I was annoyed. This was not disclosed at the time of purchase. Imagine my surprise on the purchase of my brand new suv with 10 miles and it has a known defect with no known fix.

I contacted Nissan consumer affairs and for three weeks I received an automatic reply phone call.(Very polite) Nissan is concerned and looking into this. Next I received a phone call from an arbitrator who says there is a fix for the Nissan Rogue Sport. I advised I don't have a Rogue sport. The person promised to get back to me. I week went by and I contacted the arbitrator. Again they assured me there was a fix and will get back to me in a couple of days. Another week goes by I contact the arbitrator again because I have not heard from them. Now I've had this car 3 months with the radio and navigation cutting on and off. The arbitrator finally sets up an appointment at the dealership to take the car back again. The technician tells me the same thing again. That fix doesn't work for your Rogue it isn't a Sport.

This is a known issue and the engineers are working on a fix. In the mean time I'm paying a car payment insurance and racking up miles and Nissan is dragging there feet. I ask to swap out to another Rogue and the traitor said that is fine but what if it had the same problem. I also contacted a lawyer to try and cover all bases.

Finally August 6th I was offered a buy back. Silly me thinks that means they will give you back your money and you go on your marry way. Nissan continued to drag this out. I had to pay back the rebates and my trade in allowance. Including the pay off to the finance company and the mileage I drove on a defective car I paid over $4200 in a cashiers check back to Nissan and they did not take this car back until September 7th over four months and money out of my pocket. They did not reimburse me the money I spent on car insurance or car payments or inconvenience of my time. They charged me for driving their defective car. The lawyers weren't interested me paying top dollar for a car only if someone is killed namely me then they would help. That was my 3rd Nissan NEVER AGAIN. The safety features are overwhelming the system. I live in a state that you pay property tax. $821 for the Nissan and $2200 for my new car. Dealership was great I kept my word Nissan doesn't back up their product.
