2018 Nissan Rogue SUV: Hood suddenly flew open while driving about 30-35 mph. I was able to safely pull over; although hood and fenders were damaged, I could close the hood and subsequently brought it to a Nissan dealer. A tech at the dealership identified the problem as a "frozen" (open) hood latch. I am awaiting an insurance adjuster to inspect the car. There were no warnings or any symptoms of problems prior to this incident. Had this happened at faster speeds, or on a multi-lane highway, who knows what consequences could have ensued.

Water has been making passenger-€™s side seats wet both rear and front. Making fungus to grow. That could result in poor health. Its been more than a year. Earlier suspected that water might have been spilled. But its always wet.

Keep getting warning message while driving - this warning appears when the blind spot warning/lane departure warning or forward collision warning systems are not functioning properly. The breaks while driving will seem to shake. Like I don't have control of them. Water coming in through the hatch/trunk of car. So many problems with this brand new car.

Rear passenger door will not close. Car has 26500 miles and it's going to the shop for the 2nd time since I've had it in 2 months. The 1st incidence was the drivers window not rolling up and down properly. Both times, car has been stationary. The way the rear door is now, the vehicle cannot be driven.

Bought a new 2018 Rogue sv on 5/8/19 & have had continuous & unfixed problems with it. With 165 miles on the car, I took this Rogue to the lebrun dealership in auburn, NY to correct 2 problems: 1 was the "repeated and very noticeable vibrations in the steering wheel & body of the car." And other electrical problems. Brought the Rogue back to lebrun 5 more times to get these noticeable vibrations corrected. Both the owner & Nissan factory rep.drove the car and both agreed that I had vibrations in the steering wheel, etc. Why" their answers were: "it has something to do with the transmission." If Nissan knows what the problem is, why are they continuing to sell these cars with a known engineering designed-in defect? I asked for my money back but lebrun won't because he didn't build the car. And Nissan" they too refused & honor their warranties and promises. I find that the dealership owner, Nissan & the factory rep. To be corrupt and unethical in refusing to live up to their published warranties and promises. The fact that Nissan & lebrun have known about these severe vibration problems for years & the factory rep. Had "determined my vehicle was operating as designed" is untrue. Nissan has refused to fix this engineering designed-in flaw is truly unacceptable & borders on the criminal, especially for the fact that they're still there in the 2019 and 2020 Rogue models. I drove a 2020 Rogue with the owner and the vibrations are still there. Also, this 2018 Rogue has various electrical problems, such as: It kept, & still does at times, change my settings from fm to cd, xmradio to am, etc.; keeps blowing a 20 amp fuse when I tried to install a multi-outlet device & plugged in a dash cam & a radar detector. Also, if I just plug in my radar detector, shut off the ignition & open any door, the radar detector turns on. Electrical problems galore.

There is separation (gap) occurring between the front bumper cover and fenders on both sides of the vehicle. There is also separation (gap) occurring between the rear bumper cover and quarter panels. This is not normal for a brand new vehicle as I purchased it new. The major concern is that whether the panels will separate while driving and cause a major accident that could result in injuries to occupants of my vehicle or others. The vehicle was taken back to the dealership of purchase and they repaired only the left front side so I am not satisfied as I can still see the gaps. There should not be any gaps between the panels at all. It is stressful having to drive a vehicle while worrying about if something could happen. I have contacted Nissan usa about the issue. Not sure exactly when the gap started but noticed it around 08/01/2019. The vehicle has never been in accident or anything.

1. when I stop the car in front of a red traffic light signal or get stuck in traffic and the lever in position "D" my back feels vibration. I see the passenger seat swinging. I put my hand on the headrest and feel the vibration. 2.when I keep the speed of 30... 35 mph I feel the vibration on the steering wheel, I hear the hum from the transmission, the rear-view mirror has an oscillation. 3.when I drive a car on the road, the wheel crosses a pit or knob, the right rear seat shakes noisily. 4.when I drive car 65 mph and push brake pedal gently I feel pulse beating on steering wheel, body, seats. 5.when I was washing the car at the car wash, the tailgate spontaneously opened. I'm afraid to visit the automatic car wash because it may cause an accident. 6.kick moving liftgate opening doesn't work properly. 7. tech replaced the brake booster vacuum tube but it doesn't work.

3/23/19 while driving in the middle lane of the freeway hwy 101south to san francisco the sunroof of my Nissan Rogue 2018 exploded. This startled the driver and the car swerved but the driver got the car under control. When we stopped to see what happened, the sunroof glass had exploded. We have had the car for 9 months.
