I purchased my 22 Rogue Feb 22 brand new. First Issue: January 2023(2600 miles), engine oil drain pan had to be replaced. Apparently, it broke during oil change at dealership. I've heard others complain about the same thing. Second issue, 6500 miles (June 2024): begun driving weird. While driving the vehicle jerks, shudders, and acts like it is going to lose power. Losing power / shuddering while driving can be a danger to myself or others driving around me if suv unexpectedly reduces in speed. This happens during both high and low speeds. also stalls when trying to accelerate from a complete stop. Not sure if this was related to the software update (recall) I done at the dealership June 24, but issue 2 started immediately afterwards. Suv was taken to dealership when I started experiencing issue 2. Dealership had vehicle for 2 weeks, but return vehicle and said nothing was wrong. They said the Nissan Engineer that came out found no issues as well. They did mention the Turbo lagging, but sd that's normal. Fast forward, 6 weeks later (Aug 24), returned suv to dealership because performance is worse AND now engine light is on. Dealership advised light is bcz fuel pump needs to be replaced, but stated different than the current fuel pump recall on some 22 Rogues. How is this possible? Based on my mileage, my car is still nearly brand new. Vehicle is at dealership now pending repairs.

The problem started 3 months after purchase. It has a very loud noise that comes from the engine i think. It has been inspected by two different dealerships. Both insisted the noise was normal. After going more than 10 times to the dealership where i purchased my Rogue, i called nissan directly and open an investigation. Nissan sent an engineer and he said that the noise was weird but he didnt know what was going on. He also said that he was going to see if he could get me a discount for a new car. But nissan said no. I have a case number with nissan in case this is needed. This has been an issue that has been going on for two years now. Two years!! Then last month or so the check engine has been turning on and off. Today I went to make the inspection and the Rogue did not pass. And they told me the engine has fuel. After going to the inspection place the suv stopped working. It did not start. Had to call the dealership and I talked to person that has been checking the suv for the last two years and he said to take it to them. And I had to tow my Rogue to the dealership. It has been a very stressful experience and no one seems to care about this issue. My health and my safety is on the line. I don-??t know what else to do or who to talk to. I hope you guys help. Vehicle started shaking and making noise. Engine light came on and within 30 seconds car went dead. I-??m an elderly person traveling with wife and grandchildren. On highway at 70 mph. 21,000 miles. Has been towed to dealer. No diagnosis yet. Third day moving slow. Very disappointed and scared.

Oil pan and plug. Of the last 3 oil changes we are on our 2nd replacement for the oil pan & plug. So 2 of the 3 times they had to be replaced. Ridiculous! Never had this problem in 40 years of driving all kinds of vehicles.

I first experienced an issue with my Rogue in late December 2023 with the heat going out and the fans were producing minimal air through the vents. I brought the car to the dealer January 2nd, 2024. It took a week for Nissan to diagnose the issue as engine related (engine knocking prior to total heat failure, and metal shavings in the oil pan) and another 3 weeks for them to order and install a brand new engine. In May I brought the car back to the dealer because the AC wasn-??t working. They fixed that within a week. Didn-??t seem to be engine related. Recently I experienced (Friday 6/14/2024) loss of power, whereby my vehicle stalled while driving at 55 mph. No warning lights came on, no alarm bells or signals popped up on my dashboard. As my vehicle began to decline in speed, a note displayed on my dash that stated the engine stalled and pull over safely. I was able to coast the car into a turn lane with my flashers on. The engine then died at full stop. I had to have it towed to the dealer as the vehicle bogged out once it started. Ultimately, it continued to stall out. The dealer notified me today that my engine failed again and that they would have to replace the engine again. I will hear from them again once they determine if they will replace the engine or if they may offer to buy back the car.

We keep our car in an enclosed garage and when parking in the garage there is a large build up of gas/exhaust smell. The smell is sickening and enters the house whenever we open the entry door. We bought the car in September 2022 and brought it to the dealership in January 2023 where they verified the problem but didn-??t have any solution. We received a letter from Nissan (NT/23-025) acknowledging the problem. The did nothing nor communicated we us so we brought it back in on January 2024 and they ordered parts and serviced on Feb 21/24. Back in to dealership on Mar 4,2024; April 3, 2024; April 5, 2024. Then May 8, 2024 Nissan engineers investigated and replaced another part. Still have odor problem.

There is an ongoing problem with a fuel (gasoline) odor in the cabin. This most commonly occurs in a warm start situation, ie the car has sat for 15 minutes to an hour after driving. When the car starts there is a strong gas smell which does not dissipate for anywhere from 10 minutes up to 45 minutes. Strangely this seems worse when the vehicle has backed up prior to shutting down. This does not seem to be a problem when cold (sitting overnight or for 4 or more hours) at this point. I am concerned that this may result in a fire and the obvious issues regarding health concerns related to breathing gas vapor. The dealer says they are aware of the problem but they are unable to resolve it at this point.

The front sunroof on a 2022 Nissan Rogue Platinum blew out while traveling on highway at normal speed. There were no warnings. The car dealership has ordered replacement parts to repair the sunroof glass. They said they had not heard of this and tried to blame it on a rock but the remaining glass is at an upward tilt. It was taped that day.

After driving the vehicle, we-??ll notice a gas smell coming from the car when parked in the garage. There is no leak or any issues with the vehicle running. Sometimes the odor is minimal and sometimes very strong. Nissan has reported awareness of this and is looking for a fix.

Unknown Very strong gas smell inside the vehicle and outside the vehicle and under hood. This started with less the 4000 miles on it and it is just over 6200 miles at this time. I brought it to local nissan dealer lia nissan of Saratoga and was advised they can not find anything wrong with it and they can not do anything without a recall. So I am driving a vehicle around with excessive gas smell inside and out. This seems dangerous to me. I did express my concern to both the dealership and nissan themselves and they still refuse to do anything. I asked what happens if I am in an accident and my car starts on fore or if I am driving and my car starts on fire. The service recep. Said well it looks like you will have a law suit. So don't think they realize this is not good. Breathing in gas is a health issue and this should be addressed and should not be ignored. These vehicles had gas issues the year prior so why isn't this a concern for nissan. This is a new vehicle smelling gas is a hazard and puts myself, my family and people driving around me at risk. Gas fumes from engine compartment -?" after the car has been driven 20-30 mins enough to heat up the engine and then parked (turned off) for 10-15 minutes a strong smell of gasoline is detected, you can smell it either by sniffing in the front grill or if you start it and use the outdoor air circulation in the cabin it will come through the vents. There are enough fumes to fill a 1 car garage in 30 mins with a thick odor of gasoline. The fumes are nauseating and cause headaches. My salesman at Hawk Nissan suggested changing gas to a top tier brand so I starting using Mobile but no help with the fume issue. After speaking with a service manager at Woodfield Nissan, he said that he-??s had a few cars come in recently with the same problem. Nothing is showing up mechanically so they chalked it up to a -??break-in period-?? and/or possibly a coating used in manufacturing. Brought it back to Woodfield Nissan a couple weeks later stating the oil dipstick has a strong smell of gasoline same smell I get in the cabin and around the car. He found nothing unusual with the oil smell. I took it into Hawk Nissan Oct 2022 with 800 miles now with 2943 miles still having the issue. Not sure if this is affecting my MPG but I'm only getting 18-20 MPG mix of city & highway driving. Recently I'm seeing a lot of the same complaints with the 2023 models.

After 9 months of owning this car. When I drive for 20 or so miles and turn the vehicle off for a short period then restart I smell gas and fumes make me sick and my eyes water at times. The dealer found nothing wrong. Nissan corporate got involved after I emailed them. Their engineering tech confirmed it was happening.

Our car was in the garage. I opened the trunk not using remote opener, but from outside. I was taking groceries out. I was leaning in and picking up bags when I noticed that trunk door was coming down. I tried to move quickly out of the way and hit my left side of my forehead. Above my eye. As a result I have a black and blue under my eye and a bump on my forehead and now several days of headaches. So, what is happening is that car trunk door when it was opening reached or hit the top of the garage. That caused it to start coming down immediately. There is no sensor to see if there is something in the way. Similar to garage door where there a sensor that something is in the way and it will stop. We have a small video of what happens. I do not feel safe in my new car. There-??s a problem with the turbo\acceleration. It won-??t accelerate for 2-?"3 seconds when I push the gas. And when it does it jumps forward fairly fast. If I-??m at a stop and I-??m ready to cross and I take my foot off the break and the car is going like 1 mile an hour-?? then press the gas-?? it-??s as if it-??s in neutral. The car won-??t move forward for 2-3 seconds. It-??s going to get me into an accident. For example, If I am at an intersection, and I cross and a car fails to stop at the stop sign-?? And I see them coming towards my car-?? I will not be able to move out of the way because of the acceleration problem. Or if I-??m on the highway and am slowing down due to treaffic ahead, and the car behind me doesn-??t see and slams on their breaks and I see and hear it and look to my left and see no cars and I want to speed up into the left to avoid being hit by this car behind me-??. My car will not move and I will get hit anyway. I have a five year old son. I do not feel that he and I are safe in this car. Are all these new Rogues like this"???" If so, it needs to be fixed immediately!! Please help!!!
