rear window shattered sitting in my driveway rear window shattered sitting in my driveway rear window shattered sitting in my driveway rear window shattered sitting in my driveway rear window shattered sitting in my driveway rear window shattered sitting in my driveway

I went out to move my car to prepare for a delivery from Home-Depot. When I closed my door the back window shattered. I called the dealership, Maus Nissan and they told me they don't do glass replacement. I was told they would have an individual contact me to give me a quote. I never received that call and handled it on my own. The cost ranged from $350 to $550 depending on the company.

I was pretty mad thinking I was vandalized. The sheriff told me there was no other car in the neighborhood or surrounding area reported any vandalism in the past week.

My repair technician gave me a heads up. He told me he's replaced many Nissan Rogue rear windows.

I began a search on line and I found Multiple individuals complaining about Rogue rear windows shattering without any warning. Most shattered sitting in driveways just like mine! Then I found a thread on the internet discussing Rogue rear windows shattering. One dealership come clean in Florida (unnamed in the thread) about having several come in with shattered back windows over a three and a half week span.

NOW I know why Maus Nissan told me they didn't do glass replacement, IT NEEDS TO BE A WARRANTY issue.

I will be contacting Nissan Customer Service at 1-800-647-7261
