Additionally, the instrument cluster was inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the contact was informed that the technician needed to see the failure before the vehicle could be repaired. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that a diagnostic test was needed and would be an out-of-pocket expense.
