When you get in and want to back up, which way would you expect to push the shifter? Well, you would be wrong, you push it forward! When you wish to drive forward, again which way? Yea, pull it back for forward. And I bet you would love to know how to put this POS into neutral.
I went to a carwash, and the machine grabbed my tier, but I was totally unable to get it into neutral. It would pop back to reverse, then forward, and again back to reverse. I just about hit the car behind me as I could not put this in neutral.
I accidently got it there and got my car washed, but later at home I couldn't duplicate that until I finally discovered that I had to gently press the shifter to the reverse (when I'm in drive) and just feel the detent but not go into it. Then very carefully hold it there for 1.5 seconds and it goes into neutral.
Whoever designed this absolutely stupid shifter should be promoted to janitor. Assuming they can teach him or her how to drive a broom the right way.
