Car was parked in indoor parking garage, I Opened driver-??s door and heard a crash. The rear window had shattered. Luckily I was not driving at the time, this could have potentially caused a very dangerous situation. Nissan consumer affairs stated no recall and refused to cover the repair.

My Nissan rouge 2025 accelerated on its own when I was parking my vehicle at my pet boarding place. I just missed crashing into the building, could not get the care to stop, kept bumping the brakes eventually it disengaged itself. i am fortunate not to have crashed, taken my life or someone else's life. My car suffered minimal damage by taking out their large mailbox and shrubs. My car was towed to Nissan dealer and they have had the car x 2.5 months. An inspector from Nissan affairs is coming March 10 to the Brandon Nissan dealer in Florida to see what he can find going on with the car.

I went out and got in my 2025 Nissan Roque in the garage. I opened the driver's side door, got in, closed the door and heard a loud explosion. My back window completely blew out! It was frightening! Glass is all over inside the back of my car and behind it. I'm thankful no one was in that whole area! I called my insurance that day and they contacted SAFELITE immediately and set up and appointment to have them come and replace it here in my garage, although it has taken 6 days. 6 days without a vehicle! I have since learned there is Class Action Law Suit on this ongoing matter.

I bought my Rogue August 2025, brand new. I am at home and my rear windshield has just busted out for no reason. It is 38 degrees today outside. I have not moved my vehicle at all today. For no reason, just sitting in driveway, it has busted. I looked up and it looks as if other Rogues are doing this. This is very dangerous. What if I had been driving the vehicle.

The rear camera goes out/ screen flickers and turns black for a period when in reverse. It doesn-??t happen every time but it happens often and at different times of day or different weather/ temperatures. I have not been able to determine associated factors ( humidity, temperature, etc). It does seem to be more frequent when first starting car after awhile (a few hours) but not always the case. I have brought in to Nissan but it hasn-??t been duplicated in their presence yet. It happens about every third to fourth time of driving it. So that is frequent in my opinion.

On January 22, 2026, my husband and i were sitting in the parked vehicle, which was rented from Thrifty Rental, and the rear window spontaneously exploded into a million pieces. We have since learned that there is a Federal lawsuit and hundreds of complaints against Nissan for this exact issue. We consider ourselves lucky that the car was not moving as there could have been bodily injury or an accident.

Took my car in for some minor hood issues the week after buying it. While there the dealership pulled it out of the shop, parked it in the lot with the other vehicles they had worked on. They called me and told me they were going to call me and let me know my 2025 Nissan Rogue was ready to pick but when they went out to move it close to the door the back windshield was shattered.

I was driving and hit a small bump in the road and my back glass exploded it was so loud I almost wrecked my car. I called nissan and they told me to bring it in and they would replace it they did it with no questions so it raised a red flag then I googled and found it is happening to alot of owners of nissan rouge 2022-2025. I bought this as a forever car and I feel they will not keep replacing it over and over. I feel I will not get my money out of this car so disappointed

On 12/5/25 my rear window just shattered right after the back hatch closed! I had it repaired myself because Matt Black Nissan said it wasn-??t covered by my warranty. I paid Safelite $508.94 for the repair. I still had to take it to a dealer because there was some glass pieces left in the door and it was causing my locks to lock and unlock continuously. While I was waiting for my Rogue to be fixed I was talking to a man waiting for his vehicle and he told me this is happening to other vehicles where the back window just shatters. I did go online after this and have seen multiple other complaints about this issue. They need to recall this back hatch and fix the issue.
