Rear subframe rusted out. Everyone's that looked at it while dealing with it says, they never seen one rust out like this. Checked 2012 in a lot and very little rust. My son has 2012 Exterra with 150,000 miles on it, runs it on the beach all the time...no problems. So far parts have run me around $3,000 just now getting it fixed so don't know how much that's going to cost (approx $1000 +) As of now, have kept up with maintenance and no accidents! Replacement for same model with the same year and mileage and condition (used) $11,000 -14,000)
