Rogue Select 2.5L

  • CVT transmission
  • 81,000 miles

I drove about 1 hour away going on the highway with my family and son mother and father. I was going 70 miles and I was fine for like 55 min to like 1 hour and as soon as I keep driving, boom I just start losing power. There was a loss of acceleration. I keep pressing down the gas pedal all the way down to keep accelerating because other cars were going fast. We almost got hit - it was kinda scary. Thank God I pulled over to the side but I lost power to accelerate my transmission. It felt poor.

I heard these CVT transmissions are no good. I would really want Nissan to do recalls and fix my car - it doesn't matter where I buy it at dealer or Nissan dealer, it doesn't matter. This issue comes from Nissan - they know whats going on. They should have my car recalled and others as well - this is not cool or safe at all. It is not good for long trips. I would hope if some one gets to me and fix my issue I will contact them or lawyer it's a gas saver but really not comfortable to drive far, due to this CVT.

Rogue Select

Throttle Body stopped working, ordered the part. Problem is I ordered the part for a 2015 Nissan Rogue Select, which is the car I have, my Throttle Body part that is on the car, that went bad, is a 2012 part...Weird huh. So now I have a throttle body for what should be a 2015 and need to buy a 2012 part so it fits, how does this even happen???
