The air bag light turned on in the dashboard and I took it to the dealership they charged a diagnostics fee and said that the OSC sensor and control unit need to be replaced. I reported to them that I thought maybe the kids dropping water behind the seat was what triggered the light but it turned out that water never touched the components and it just failed on it's own. I checked for recalls for my VIN and found nothing however my car falls under the OSC recalls for my make and model it's just that my VIN isn't included for whatever reason.

The Air Bag Light on the instrument panel came on for no reason. I took the vehicle to the dealership. I had to pay for a reset to have been done. There were 2 or 3 codes that came up. I was told and the paperwork said that the technician resolved the problem. I went to start the vehicle and the instrument panel light was off for the air bag and I have 2 new issues. The seat belt light is on and now after 10 seconds, the passenger airbag light goes from yellow to off as someone is sitting in the seat. The only way that the seatbelt light clears off of my instrument panel is by buckling the passenger side seatbelt. The dealership said that the issue had to be called into a tech higher-up. I never have received an answer. I had the codes programmed in and taken out and the original issue still exists I don't know if all airbags are not working as my instrument panel airbag light is on and don't actually know if the passenger side is actually working or not.

Air baglight on dash is on and passenger airbags have been off. The first correction to this was when I bought my car 4 years ago and last week the red light came on and the passenger off sign. The passenger airbag sensor on my dashboard has been on constantly even if the seat is empty for two years and has been passing inspection. However, for some odd reason, my car failed inspection this year due to the airbag light. It costs over $2200 to fix. My Altima also has this issue. Nissan needs to recall this issue. My car has not been in a accident took it to the Nissan dealers in selma ca they quoted me over $1000 I seen online that there is a recall on passenger air bags but when I looked up my VIN # it doesn't show but it the same part that was recalled can you please help me find out if this could be under warranty
