I almost got rear ended because my 2018nissan rogue sport s, randomly went into emergencybraking mode as i was driving through an intersection. I was going the speed limit, and my brakes and inspection are all new. The car started flashing a warning yellow light even thoufh there was no obstruction in front of me and then it came to a complete stop abruptly. I was unable to press the gas or brake.

My car started smoking/steaming while I was driving through town at night, shortly after the engine light came on and my C/H indicator sailed over to H. I pulled over and immediately shut the car off, called for a tow truck. Took about 10 minutes for it to cool down and stop smoking/steaming. Mechanic ran a diagnostic on it and told me that the cooling fan broke and that it could have started a fire had I kept trying to drive it, said they measured the temp inside and it got up to 268 degrees. They ordered a new one for me, but were told that it would take a while because there were 26 other customers ahead of me that were also waiting for one. My car is still sitting with the mechanic if it needs to be inspected, this is the first time that I have had any trouble with the vehicle in the 3 years that I have owned it.

I was going to take my 2018 Nissan Rouge to the dealer for my electric fan coolant because the bearings sounds like they are going but we decided to do it ourselves because they wanted over $1000 USA Dollars and we can't afford that. Even my local garage said it would be over 800 bucks! We started to search the internet to find out we are not the only ones with this same problem!! Lots of people are having the same problem with these cars and most of the Nissan brand. I would like to know why this hasn't been recalled. This could heat up my engine or worse case blow it up. The second compliant I have is my seatbelt doesn't work sometimes. The latch keeps getting stuck and the light is on no matter if it is buckled or not. This seems to be not under warranty? WHY it is a safety hazard. I am very disappointed in the Nissan production. I love the car but keep having these problems!

Last night hot air was coming out of my A/C and I shut off the car and it would turn back on again. It happened 3 times until the 4th time it shut off. When I went to start the car, it would not start. I waited one hour until the mechanic showed up. He revised the car and could not see anything except that the car would not start. We tried to start the car and at the 4th attemp it started and I went home with the engine light on. I went to have it check with a computer and I have a diagnosis of: Code-P1217 engine over-temperature condition, code-P0090 fuel pressure regualtor control circuit, code-P0507 idle air control system RPM higher thatn expected, code-P0087 fuel rail/system pressure - too low.
