problem #4

Rogue Sport Sport

  • Automatic transmission
  • 63,000 miles

This problem has happened 5 times now. What does it take to get Nissan to find out what is causing this and get them all fixed before it causes a tragic accident or death?

Rogue Sport Sport

  • Automatic transmission
  • 7,000 miles

While driving under 50 mph, all of a sudden it's like someone slammed on the brakes, then lets up. NO warning at all. Pretty darn scary. Told Nissan dealership about this and I got the ole answer, "I have to see it happen!"

Well now, If I could predict it I would be a very rich person. More concern from Nissan would be greatly appreciated. This problem better not cause an accident and hurt anyone. Nissan knows of this problem and isn't calling a recall for safety sake.

Rogue Sport SV 2.0L I4 Di

  • Automatic transmission
  • 17,424 miles

This was the second time this happened on the parking ramp going into the garage where I park at work. The first time it happened I had an expensive Mercedes on my ass, this time it was a huge truck on my ass. The problem in Jackson, Mississippi, is that people love to ride your ass all the way to work, so when the vehicle suddenly stops, this could cause a rear end collision which is gonna really piss me off.

Both times this has happened I was going up a steep ramp into a parking garage. Sounds like a sensor is getting mixed signals but this could really be a problem if someone rear ends me. There's currently an investigation into the 2017-2018 but they need to include the 2019 as well. I took the car to another dealership to have it checked out and everything was okay.

There's no recall or service bulletins related to this problem.
