The contact owns a 2001 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 30 mph, the brake pedal was depressed and the vehicle stalled without warning. The failure recurred on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed that the fuel injectors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 01V357000 (engine and engine cooling). The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 160,000.
