When passing a semi truck on a curve traveling approximately 70 mph, the engine died and the steering had become hard to turn. The consumer was nearly rear ended by a semi truck. The dealer stated the problem was the engine position sensor. All 2000 and 2001 Sentra's had been recalled for replacement.

While driving, the vehicle stalled. The engine light sometimes illuminated on the dash board, it was determined that the crank position sensor was broke.

Consumer states that shortly after starting the vehicle and trying to put the vehicle into reverse the vehicle started to rev up and when the consumer tried to go in reverse the vehicle went in reverse at a high speed until the consumer applied the brakes and shut the vehicle off.
