My 2005 Nissan Sentra is in the early stage of having a transmission issue. It's already vibrating and slipping, and the gear shift is sticking. I bought this car in large part because of the pervasive Japanese car durability "legends", yet here I am fairly stuffing my face with crow lol. During the one year I have owned it (I purchased it in 2010 with 35,000 miles) I have had to replace the catalytic converter and the head gasket--and now I'm told that the transmission will have to be looked at. And it's my second Sentra. The last one lasted only three weeks before the head gasket blew. I guess the mighty legends are just that, after all!
