THIS IS THE SECOND OCCURRENCE OF A PROBLEM WITH MY REAR WINDOWS. IN 2010, WHILE STILL UNDER WARRANTY, THE LEFT REAR WINDOW HAD TO BE REPAIRED. THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED IN EARLY 2011, BUT WE JUST KEPT THE WINDOW UP AND SUFFERED THROUGH IT. SUBSEQUENTLY, EVERY TIME WE HIT A BUMP, THE WINDOW WOULD SLIP DOWN. THIS PAST SATURDAY, IT SLID ALL THE WAY DOWN INTO THE DOOR WHICH PROMPTED MY VISIT TO OUR NISSAN DEALERSHIP, (COGGIN NISSAN, 10600 ATLANTIC BLVD, JACKSONVILLE, FL. THE WINDOW REGULATORS ON THIS CAR SEEM TO BE DEFECTIVE. I CANNOT OPERATE MY CAR WITH AN OPEN WINDOW, SO THE REPAIR HAD TO BE DONE. WE ARE LOYAL NISSAN CUSTOMERS, BUT ARE EXASPERATED WITH THIS PROBLEM..HAS THIS BEEN REPORTED, PREVIOUSLY?

WE WOULD LIKE SOME CONSIDERATION IN THIS MATTER...

Sentra SE 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 12,500 miles

After 28 months of owning the vehicle my rear passenger window would not roll up. Instead, it dropped down into the frame of the door not to be seen again. Luckily the car was still under warranty and the dealership fixed it the same day.

For the second time my rear passenger window fell down into the door and the window regulator had to be replaced. Same door, same problem. Only this time it wasn't under warranty and cost me $305. They had to order the part and I was out a vehicle for 3 days.
