Sentra

  • 50,000 miles
The driver's seat-belt on this Nissan Sentra cannot be applied when parked on a hill. There are only solutions that work: Place the seat-belt over the steering wheel when parking, and remembering to sit-back down without allowing the belt to return to the unused position when buckling back up. The other solution is to drive without wearing your seat-belt until you reach a surface flat enough that the seat-belt mechanism disengages enough to allow you to buckle up. Obviously, both solutions are unrealistic and represent a real safety risk for motorists. Many motorists may give up and assume the seat-belt is broken if they see this.
