At less than 4 years and 30,000 miles old I had a complete AC compressor failure which was not covered by warranty for some reason. The part was about $750 and was quoted $250 labor at the dealer which was far more than I was willing to spend so I bought a used compressor and had it installed at an AC shop for about $600 parts and labor. It seemed like an unreasonable problem to have and price to pay for what was such a new car.

Compressor failed at the same time I had a problem with a pinhole leak in the system and an intake sensor issue. Total cost for part replacement was $1200 CAD, this part was $600.
Worst part is, the issue is coming back again. Dealer has advised I will likely need to replace the compressor a second time. I will likely just junk the car, given the cost of replacing the compressor again and the imminent CVT issues.
Update from Feb 7, 2021: Sorry, this was 117,000 Kilometers, not miles.
