The vehicle was taken to gardena Nissan (1670 w redondo beach blvd, gardena, ca 90247, (310) 532-1600) and the contact was informed that the failures were due to the clockspring failure. The contact declined to have the vehicle diagnosed. The manufacturer had not been contacted or notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 172,166.

My 2010 Nissan Sentra (was stationary each time) failed to start so I replaced the battery and it began starting for a week.then one morning it failed to start again. I cleaned both the cable ends on the battery and each post. I was able to get the car started and lasted a few days and the same problems arises again. This time the engine would turn over but would not start. Put a code machine on the car and received a code for camshaft position sensor or the crankshaft position sensor. I have discovered there was a recall for the positive battery cable that would cause the car to not get good connection and create failure for the engine control module. I entered my VIN number but the NHTSA system is not responding. Could please respond to see if my vehicle is on the recall list?

The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the positive battery terminal was faulty and the ECM was damaged due to the drop in voltage caused but the faulty battery terminal. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 10V555000 (electrical system). The contact stated that the vehicle experienced the same failure listed in the recall. The dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 121,000. The VIN was invalid.

Nissan Sentra 2010 transmission having problems all time and when goes to hill become weakpower to go up. I always give good service for transmission, but why Nissan doesn't fix problem for years and I did call them factory, my airbag light is on but when I take it to do service at the Nissan they cant fix the issue since is a mechanical defective problem, this is a major safety issue. If involved in an accident my airbag wont get deployed..

Took the car to have the back brakes fixed.got the car back from the auto shop and the back and the front brakes locked up I was at a red light went to step on the gas to move the car the car would not move I set for 15 or 20 minutes started it up stepped on the gas very hard the car still did not budge but a couple of inches had to have somebody help me push it out of the street into the gas station towed it to another repair shop and the same issue with the front and back brakes locking up at the same time

Car stalls while in motion. Usually this is when I am slowing down or when I have come to a stop. It starts right up again but sometimes will stall immediately after restarting multiple times. Sometimes it will stall multiple times a day and sometimes it doesn't stall for a week or more. I took it to a mechanic and he had no idea what the problem was. My VIN number was not included in the previous recalls but it appears to be the same problem.

While driving, the car may occasionally lose power and stall out. Rate of speed doesn't seem to affect whether the car stalls. I have to throw the car in park real fast and re-crank it and it typically starts back up. If the car were to stall out while making a turn or in heavy traffic, this could cause a major accident. It is unknown what is causing this, but I did see a recall online that stated the battery terminal might be the cause of the loss of electrical operation.

The fuse for the low beam 15 amp the driver side started to blow replaced one time, light would work after approx 2 days blew up again, replaced and started to burn a wire from the wires under the fuse box under the hood. I cannot pin point where the wire is burning and now the light is very dim and high beam is not working either, before only the low beam was the problem and I'm afraid it will catch fire. The car did not get wet as the car was parked for about three weeks after the first fuse replacement. The car was not moving as I was replacing the fuse.

Different times on highway and on street driving my car is in gear, when you start to use the brake to slow down the car turns off, you have to come to a complete stop and put it back in park then restart, it turns back on. My mechanic does not no what is wrong.

A few months later the battery died while in the driveway, after changing the battery the voltage spike caused the electronic control module to fail. The local Nissan dealership was contacted and advised the owner that this vehicle's VIN was not included in the recall. The current mileage is 80,767 miles.

Nissan Sentra engine control module (ECM) & positive battery terminal cable (pbtc) - VIN missing from inclusion in multiple campaign numbers replacement of my ECM completed in December of 2016 by woodfield Nissan in hoffman estates, il (invoice attached). Now my positive battery terminal cable needs to be replaced (invoice not yet issued as car is still in the possession of the service station of M'lady Nissan in crystal lake, il). In line with campaign numbers 10V555000 & 11V579000. My VIN number is not associated with either of these campaigns. I fear for my safety and the safety of others in regards to oversight of my vehicle's exclusion and possibly other consumers as well as the recall notes there possibility for the engine to stop running while driving increasing the risk of a crash. My vehicle had a no start in both instances prompting the need for repairs. Also, vehicle has experienced power drains/fluctuation while idling and driving (can be confirmed by M'lady Nissan in crystal lake, il). Dealer service center indicated no issue with the starter or alternator and completed a full start-up check. Mileage at time of ECM replacement: 77,647 mileage at time of pbtc replacement: 79,801
