Sentra SR 1.8L 4c

  • CVT transmission
  • 60,000 miles

the first indication was the passenger headlight went out. I discovered dark melted wires indicating possible fire hazard. I had to throw a fit for them to cover it under my extended warranty. The service manager basically told me because I didn't get all my services through his shop I wasn't covered under warranty. Made NO sense. This is obviously a factory problem, nothing I could have caused.

Sentra

  • CVT transmission
  • 25,000 miles

My 2 year-old car did not start. All electrical outlets are working. We sent it to dealership. They didn't explain anything to us. They replaced a new battery at no cost under warranty. I am very concerned that it will happen again. I didn't have extended warranty.

Sentra SV 1.8L

  • CVT transmission
  • 7,000 miles

I bought my 2013 Sentra SV as a demo from Jack Ingram Nissan in Montgomery, AL the car was ordered to show customers what options you could add and had prices listed. Well I bought mine with 7,000 it is equipped with Navi, Push to Start, Back-Up Cam, Sunroof, Bose stereo, the car had everything except alloy wheels which was dumb in my opinion but aside from that it had everything the hubcaps were ugly but hey, I got my car which was listed at $24,500 for $19,006 OTD... 4 days later I found out why.

4 days of ownership my rear drum brakes fell apart while on the interstate, my navigation unit started flickering and would randomly turn itself completely off.

Jack Ingram repaired the issue and apologized before leaving the Service manager assured me the car was good to go.. later that night my push to start went out, that fixed itself by the time I called a tow truck.. However I am 21 months in to this vehicle ownership and I am on trip 13 to two different Nissan Dealerships for answers only to be told nothing was wrong Benton Nissan in Birmingham, AL was awesome and treated me like I was a loyal customer and I had never bought a car from them they even called a Nissan Tech from Nashville to fix my car and nothing has been done the car essentially is a lemon. But here is a list of my repairs and were never actually fixed. 1 - Navigation 2 - General Radio Issues 3 - Back Up Cam gets frozen 4 - Sunroof leaks 5 - Push to Start randomly fails 6 - My air bag warning lights come on spastically while someone is in my passengers' seat 7 - My transmission revs over 7,000 RPMs while going down a hill if I apply my brake pedal. 8 - My bluetooth randomly turns itself off while I'm having a conversation 9 - My passenger seat needed a complete reprogram for my passenger side airbags that shorted out. 10 - My tire pressure lights use to stay on with no change in air pressure. 11 - Lastly my car sometimes stalls out while shifting from reverse to drive...

As anyone who cared to read this entire story could conclude do NOT purchase this car.

Nissan Corporate has done nothing other than extend my warranty for me and told me they're sorry for the inconvenience and I was offered $1,500 as an apology I asked for a lemon law buy back and they told me that I have not actually had an issue with the car's reliability to support the claim... I have numerous videos of my cars issues so my attorney feels like we have a strong case. If anyone else has experience similar issues I urge you to seek legal help because the more reports we have the stronger opportunity we have at getting Sh*tty Nissan of America to buy these damn things back. Rant Over..
