Sentra

  • CVT transmission
  • 95,000 miles

Tried replacing it by myself but it turns out this starter is 1000 times harder to install than any other car. Couldn't access it as easily as in the Altima or Maxima so I had to call a mechanic.

problem #1

Sentra LX 1.8L

  • CVT transmission
  • 48,078 miles

Had the the used car for 2 months (1 month after limited dealer warranty) and a 124 pt inspection with a great value ad!. Car does not start on morning. Need a tow to the dealership (not the same as where purchased). Diagnosis :need a new starter. The car was less than 3 yrs old!!!

The sad fact is that 11 months later (few with the 1 yr replacement warranty) the starter failed again...

Should have bought a Honda or Toyota.
