Sentra S 1.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 104,900 miles

The sequence I am mentioning here happens always in my car. When I refill my tank to full. I drive around 50km the fuel indicator will down to the third section from the fourth section. Again when I start the vehicle tomorrow it would be in the half tank and it starts getting down from half tank while driving. I am very much annoyed and irritated during drive, why is the fuel getting so much sucked by my vehicle. But I am wrong, the vehicle's fuel system is indicating wrong.

Since it happens repeatedly I know it is showing the wrong indication but I am annoyed and irritated with wrong info by fuel indicator.

Sentra SV 1.8L 4 cyl

  • CVT transmission
  • 91,000 miles

Apparently this has been another common defect by Nissan for the last 10-15 years. I can't afford to fix it. It costs around $1000 to repair.
