I leased this car because of the reputation of Nissan and the mpg the car was suppose to yield. I complained about the mpg from the beginning. I was told there was a break in time for the car to get the mileage it is suppose to. Well now the car has almost 15000 miles and it is still not getting the mpg it is suppose to which is 30 in city 40 on highway. I check it by filling it up and dividing the gallons by the miles driven between the last fill up. If you just depended on the gauge in the car that constantly reports mpg you would be fooling yourself. That is a lie and faulty device. The car averages 29 to 30 mpg. It does not matter if I am on the highway or in the city. The gas type has not affected it. Nissan states it is due to your driving style. I drive it in economy mode a lot of the time. It doesn't matter.
The service tech at Ferman Nissan in New Port Richey, FL tells me his is the same way and sometimes worse. There should be a class action suit against Nissan for this problem.
