My Nissan Sentra burst into flames on July 27,2022-not sure why this occurred; the car was last serviced before this incident on June 17, 2022-the car's Compressor/AC were replaced. I had just parked the car at a hotel when the fire began. The only inspection was from a fire marshal and the insurance company that car was a complete loss. There was no warning when this happened and had I had a full tank of gasoline this would have gravely injured me. The car had seven years of meticulous upkeep so this catastrophe was totally unexpected. The autos parked on either side of me suffered serious damage as well.

Fuel pump failure at 75K miles. Resulted in vehicle sputtering, then stalling, dashboard lights going out and then turning back on with more than half a tank difference in the fuel reading, and then ran out of gas entirely. Brought to dealership who denied there being an open recalls on the vehicle ever, which is incorrect as I've already had to replace the transmission from a recall. The vehicle is completely unstable and is now also having problems holding brake fluid. Can't fill tank at the gas station either because refueling stops immediately every two seconds after turning on even if you physically hold it there... you continue to have to click it back on because the fuel is not accepted by the vehicle. This car should be recalled entirely. It is unsafe and has stranded me 3 times and repairs have been unreasonable. Nissan must take responsibility and issue recalls that will fix the issues free of charge. As of today I've been asked to invest another $3,000 to fix it, but it's worth less than that now.

Check engine light came on with a code P0101. I had maf sensor replaced with Nissan part and check engine light is still on. Now I am getting a reading for low voltage for the maf sensor. After researching, I have found that this is a very common problem. I now have to take car in to have electrical wiring and computer checked because there is some problem with the car's computer communicating with maf sensor.secondary problem is now the traction light randomly keeps illuminating and car loses acceleration from time to time. Car only has 51,000 miles on it.

Please reference NHTSA issue 11383950 submitted Dec 17, 2020. This is another issue related to the prior submitted Dec 17th. On Dec 26 the engine light came on. The car was taken to the dealer. The dealer asked if we had extended warranty, which we do not, and then took the car in for inspection. That same day we received notification (screenshots attached) that cvt assemply needs to be replaced (est $3800). After looking further online, there are various complaints and recalls regarding this known issue. We were not included in recalls regarding cvt transmission known issues. Please help getting this resolved to our satisfaction.

Hi I have 3 issues with my car, it's a 2014 Nissan centra, the first issue is the transmission it's really bad I have already too it to a Nissan dealership an said they fixed the issue but it's still doing the same thing, when you go to take off from a red light or stop sign it wants to hesitate taking off, it spitting and jerks and the transmission doesn't want to change gears, I have a automatic but it acts like a straight shift so when it hesitates I have to push the gas nor to get it to go but if you mash the gas to hard it will take off fast after it spits, it is very dangerous, I have almost slammed into the back of a few vehicles because of this problem, I have tried to pull out from a side road and a car would be coming an I know I have time to get out but when the transmission wants to act crazy an it starts hesitating to go, I have almost been hit several times. That's not all my other issue is with the air conditioner, this is the 3rd time it has went out in the last year, I went and had it serviced an they said it was the air compressor, I took it to pep boys and the guy that looked at it he told me that he has had 47 Nissan centras in the last two months to be serviced for the same reasons, well one day the air conditioning was fine but the next day I went to turn it on and it is blowing nothing but hot air so he checked it and he said the compressor went out again!! the other issue is yesterday I went to get dinner and all of a sudden the engine light came on. And my car doesn't even have 40,000 miles on it yet, I really hope writing to you about these things going wrong will open the Nissan company's eyes before someone actually get killed driving one of their cars. I found numerous Nissan transmission lawsuits filled regarding 2014 Sentra prone to shaking, jerking, sudden downshifts. I am unable to drive my vehicle and have been told it needs a transmission and this vehicle has a long history of issues.
