Also, the car rental was $1,184.76 for the time my car was in the transmission shop. It's TOTALLY unacceptable that I had to pay this rental costs due to the transmission problem.

Add this rental costs ($1,1184.76) to the cost of the transmission replacement ($4,493.14) = $5,677.82. OUT OF MY POCKET!
