The contact rented a 2019 Nissan Sentra. While driving on the highway, the driver's side window exploded and glass flew over the contact. The failure occurred without warning. There was a loud noise when the glass exploded and the contact was able to swerve and avoid a crash. The rental Agency came out, towed the vehicle, and gave the contact a new rental vehicle. The contact wrote the manufacturer and an unknown dealer, but had not heard back with a response. The contact suffered hearing loss in the left ear and was seeing a specialist. The failure mileage and VIN were unknown. 'parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).'
