This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Nissan dealer.
About every 2 weeks or so the collision alarm comes on, brakes will suddenly be applied, The car almost comes to a stop. This has occurred 4 or 5 times since I got the car. Nissan Service says the drive the car it doesn't fail, "So no trouble found". This is bad because drivers behind me think I did it. Some have come close to running into me, some have threatened me. I would like to know if anyone else is having this problem.

The sensor goes off in the middle of the road and it can cause a devastating accident. It's a SAFETY ISSUE for sure.

I only have had this car for 4 months and it's already having me worry if this car is a lemon. It stops on its own when nothing is around and warning icons pop up for no reason.

I paid a lot of money for this vehicle, a 2020 Nissan Sentra SR fully loaded. I was driving down the freeway at about 80 miles an hour when all of a sudden the car decided to hit the brakes. It scared the hell out of me! Luckily there was no other cars behind me, or I could have been seriously injured or even killed. This was the most recent incident. It happened to me two other times before. So I took it to the shop in October of 2021 and I barely got the car back a week ago after 3 months!! And guess what - the problem is still occurring!!! Like WTH!?
INSTEAD OF NISSAN issuing a safety recall they handed the car right back to me. Like they care about my safety... bullcrap!! I hit Nissan with the lemon law and they are only giving me $2000 for the buy back agreement. Like really? Not my fault Nissan built a defective vehicle... why should I be penalized for their mistakes? I believe I should be FULLY REFUNDED ALL OF MY MONEY. Nissan needs to open their eyes and start doing the right thing.
