To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the ongoing safety issue with the 2022 Nissan Sentra, NHTSA Recall Number 23V-581. This recall, which has been open since August 2023, poses a significant safety risk to drivers and other vehicles on the road and their passengers. What is particularly concerning is that similar issues were reported in the 2021 Nissan Sentra models, indicating that this problem has been persistent and ongoing. Despite this, no estimate for a remedy has been provided, leaving affected vehicle owners in a state of uncertainty and potential danger. Furthermore, the fact that the 2024 version of the Nissan Sentra is already in sales without any reported similar problem suggests that Nissan has found a solution for the new versions. This raises questions about why no action has been taken to address this critical safety issue in previous models. It is imperative that Nissan takes immediate action to rectify this issue for the 2022 Nissan Sentra models. Owners should not have to wait any longer for a solution, especially when the safety of themselves and others is at stake. The apparent lack of commitment by Nissan to address this issue promptly and effectively is deeply concerning and must be rectified without delay. I urge the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to request a deadline commitment by Nissan on finding a solution to provide a safety remedy as soon as possible. The safety of drivers must always be the top priority.

My car continuously feels like it's going to stall out and actually has just sitting at a red light. With no warning the car just stalled on me. The throttle body has been replaced already, they reset my RPMs a different time, and just replaced the entire transmission. It's a brand new 2022 Sentra and only had 14 miles on it when I bought it in March. I should not have had the transmission replaced already on a brand new car. Even with the transmission being replaced the car is still wanting to stall out. This makes for very unsafe driving and could lead to an accident as well. It also has acceleration issues when pressing the gas pedal it doesn't want to go then out of no where speeds up real fast. Very concerned and wondering if I'm ge only person with such bad luck to be the only car owner of a brand new Sentra having this problem with my car. It's been to the repair shop 4 times already and I will be going back less then a week later after having the transmission replaced. The forward collision sensor stops working when it's raining outside as well. That's the time you need it the most. It says it's been disabled and the sensor is blocked even though there is nothing blocking it.
