PAINT AND CLEAR COAT IS SUB STANDARD FOR THE 2004 TITAN, WHEN BROUGHT INTO THE DEALER I WAS TOLD I DID NOT WAX IT AND IT SHOULD OF BEEN TAKEN CARE OF SOONER. IT STARTED WHEN I HAD OVER 70,000 MILE IT WAS OVER MY MILEAGE LIMIT. THE DOOR HANDLES WERE NOT CHROME BUT PAPER ATTACHED TO THE DOOR HANDLES. CAR RUNS GOOD BUT LOOKS TERRIBLE. IT WOULD BE GOOD IF NISSAN WOULD HELP… I AM READY TO BUY ANOTHER CARE BUT IF NISSAN HAS THIS PAINT PROBLEM THEN I HAVE TO LOOK FOR OTHER OPTIONS.

Update from Feb 27, 2014: See pics of no clear coat and damage.

Update from May 28, 2015: Clear coat peeling on the hood and top of car. Dealer said it was because it was not waxed. Look at any

2004 titan and I guess no one wax there truck… right.
