Loss of significant amount of transmission fluid due to a failed or weakened hose clamp. Nissan dealer informed me this was a known problem and a repair kit had been developed as a fix, however no customer/owner notification of the problem was made. Why wasn't recall issued? was 60 miles South of atlanta when discovered only by chance during a walk around after getting gas. Might just as easily have been stranded in the middle of December with my wife and two little girls.
