Nissan previously issued a recall dealing with the wiring harness issue, #06V459000 to reroute and change the wiring cover. The issue came up again and they refuse to fix it, wanting to charge upwards of $1000 for a problem they are already aware of. The recall did not fix the problem, only a temporary cover-up. The regional Consumer Affairs Specialist Elise was no help, and didn't seem to care about the safety issues or about retaining me as a Nissan Customer.
