My wife weighed 115 and the air bag light showed the air bag system was off. Dealership says that there was nothing they could do, it was the sensor, and it was working correctly. This needed to be addressed, she was not safe while driving in the truck.

My 125 lb wife does not activate the seat sensor for the airbag in my 05 Nissan Titan. While it doesn't happen 100% of the time, it has occurred repeatedly. The dealer checked & confirmed that the system is operating normally and stated that they could do nothing more. At this point my wife is riding in our truck without an airbag. While she does wear a seat belt, I would like to have the comfort of knowing the full safety system is operational in the event of an accident. Research and other complaints posted here show that this is not an isolated problem.
