The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Titan. The contact was driving 20 mph as the vehicle began to abnormally pull to the right. The vehicle was taken in for numerous wheel alignments but the repair did not correct the failure. The contact stated that a camber kit was missing. The camber kit allowed the front end to adjust properly during wheel alignment. The contact stated that the vehicle was manufactured without a camber kit and has to be purchased as an aftermarket part. The contact called the manufacturer regarding the camber kit and the manufacturer stated that the camber kit was an aftermarket part purchased at the contact's expense. The contact stated that the camber kit should have come with the vehicle since it was a safety device. The contact believed the vehicle to be unsafe to drive. The failure mileage was 128,000.

2005 Nissan Titan crew cab 4X4 with off-road package, within 10,000 miles there were loose bolts on the transfer case. At 38,500 miles the left front differential seal failed and leaked. At 39,800 miles the power steering hose went bad and leaked. At 51,000 miles the circular clip on the axle at front left differential deformed causing axle to begin to fall out of vehicle!!! thankfully all has been covered under our extended warranty, and dealerships have replaced parts, but when it runs out these will come from our pocket, and no one can guarantee the new parts are not just replacements or any better. This could have resulted in death or injury to us or someone else had that axle fell from vehicle, and could occur again.

: the contact stated while driving 10 mph on normal road conditions, the right front wheel spindle fractured making the vehicle pull hard to the left. The were no warning signals. The vehicle was taken to the dealership who honored the warranty and performed the repairs. The contact was concerned because this kind of failure was not supposed to happen in a such a low mileage vehicle.

: the contact stated at various speeds the front end vibrated. The dealership determined the problem was with the tires and the tires were rotated. This did not resolve the problem.

We purchased a truck from Nissan in October of 2004. It has been in the shop many times and in December of 2004, it was there over 30 days. The transmission and the rear end have both gone out, windows don't roll up and down correctly, rattling in the cab where the visor and garage door openers are held. The brake, vdc, tow, and ABS switch stay on all the time. The brakes are going out and the whole truck shimmies. Now in addition to the transmission being replaced once, it's slipping again. Nissan stated they would pay for the rental on the 30 days, but that was a lie. They socked me with an $283 bill. $181 was to fill up the tank with gas!!!!!!! there are also missing valves on the tires they themsleves took off and didn't replace and the alarm goes off by itself when no one is around. Give me a break...Nissan states this does not qualify for the lemon law. I need help in this situation.
