2006 Nissan Titan. Consumer states several problems with vehicle and recall issues the consumer stated the brake booster was defective and has not worked properly, since the vehicle was purchased. It would take extreme force to stop the vehicle. The fuel level sending unit, air conditioning condenser fan motor, engine control module relay, instrument panel fuel gauge all malfunctioned. Also, the lower control links that attached to the chassis mounting failed.

The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Titan. Five minutes after the contact started the vehicle, he noticed smoke underneath the hood. He shut off the vehicle and disconnected the battery. The vehicle was driven to the dealer and they discovered that the coolant wires, fuse box wires, harness wires, and coolant unit/combo switch were melted and fused together. The dealer will replace the cooling fan and the wiring harness. The current and failure mileages were 64,000. Updated 062909 the dealer stated the ac condenser fan motor housing rusted causing the motor to seize and overheat, leading to the wires burning out and shortening. The consumer received a recall notice in the mail for the problem he had already experienced. Nissan informed the consumer the recall was only for the condenser fan portion of the repair. Updated 07/02/09.
