Titan SE 5.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 102,000 miles

Travelling on interstate highway noticed I was losing power in the transmission. Came to a stop and transmission fluid everywhere, thought it blew a transmission seal. Dealership service writer said no I can tell you without looking your coolant lines have collapsed, we are seeing this a lot on Titans. THE TRANSMISSION IS DAMAGED AND HAS TO BE REPLACED DUE TO THE LOSS OF FLUID WITH NO WARNING ON A 5 YEAR OLD NISSAN. ITS A 3500.00 REPAIR EXPENSE FOR USED AND 5,500.00 TO 6,000.00 FOR A NEW ONE. NISSAN IS BETTER THAN THIS, IVE READ WHERE THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT PENDING ON THIS SAME ISSUE. IM TRYING TO LOCATE THAT CASE AND HOW TO BECOME A PART OF IT. IF ANYONE KNOW PLEASE SHARE IT WITH ME.
